I hate assholes; they are not welcome in my journal. I can't stand idiots, either, and also bitches (defined by me as people who initiate drama while portraying themselves as victims), trendy herd-followers (including those who are politically knee-jerk no matter where they fall on the spectrum), and religious fundamentalists. I like to think of my journal as a semi-benevolent dictatorship, and there is no reason I should have to "grin and bear" anyone's bullshit.
I am extremely pale. I dye my hair standard-issue "goth" black and apparently have quite large eyes. Complete strangers have complimented me on having large eyes. I've been considered extremely attractive, but more by, say, 1927's standards than 2007's. I used to dress like a militant cabaret performer with a hint of 19th-century prostitute, though now I tend to dress more like a formerly-wealthy WWI-era opium addict.
For most of my life after puberty I've been either voluntarily or (especially) involuntarily celibate. I've gone through many different definitions of celibacy in my life, sometimes frustrated and embittered, sometimes satisfied and content.
I spent my childhood in a white-trash town in Missouri and my teen years in a large yuppie town in Kansas. Now I attend college in a small "old-money" town in New York and I must say the culture shock was not nearly as great as that first move.
I am apparently much different in real life than what people may assume based on my LiveJournal alone. I suppose, among other things, I speak out loud a lot less than I think I do.
Despite being The Propagandist, I am not Joseph Goebbels.
I am the cheese. I am the most important character on the show. I am better than the bologna and the salami combined.
This is my little sister:
She died in February of 2007 at the age of 14. I miss her.
